VERNON BUILDING - it's back to the 60s! (CREEPY LIFTS)

Tour of the very industrial 1960s Vernon Building, but it's the creepy lifts that interest me the most!

FYI - I am an engineer by trade. I did not gain access to the lift shaft or tamper with any lift equipment. All filming was done from observing the lift in normal operation.

So my channel I hope does not plant ideas in their minds to do things like surfing lifts or stunts at height. I've seen very recently an example of this, a kid copying someone in our community.
In my opinion, a warning in a video DOES NOT exonerate you if harm should come to a kid that was copying something that you have portrayed as a fun activity. If you have shown it, they copy it, the where does the fault lie? Is it the kid? Or the adult that planted the idea in their head in the first place?
I'd like to think that my channel DOES NOT influence people to perform dangerous acts.

THE TALE OF THE CAT:
Blue Circle was a security company installing mainly alarms and was taken over by Chubb in about year 2000. It was a family run company with some really good installation standards. A great company to work for, my first job in this world and I was proud to be apart of it. Taught me the qualities that I work by today.
Potential customers were given a leaflet. On the back of the leaflet it explained the cat that was the company's logo and printed on every alarm box:
“According to a different story, a sacred goblet had been stolen from one of Siam’s temples, and a pair of Siamese cats set off into the surrounding woodlands to search for it. After a time, they found it, discarded near to some bushes, so the male cat trekked back to the temple to report their discovery, leaving behind the female cat to guard the precious goblet. This she did, tightly grasping its long slender stem with her tail until her mate should come back. Several days later, he duly returned – and found to his great surprise that she had given birth, to five beautiful kittens, but each with a kink in its tail.”
