Making a Dual Sealed Subwoofer - 12" Sony Xplod

DIY build dual 12" sealed enclosure for two Sony XS-NW1200 Xplod subwoofers. Box is designed to have an angled or wedged back panel in order to lean against the backseat of any car without compromising space and comfort. And that would leave no air space for resonance.

Each enclosure chamber has a volume of 1.076 cubic foot and a total of 2.154 cubic feet net volume.

Car subwoofer enclosures do look good when covered with charcoal black carpet and finished seamlessly. Amplifier used in testing is a generic Chinese-made D12 MRV-F805 4 channel 3800w amplifier, bridged each channel into 4 Ohms.

I used a bi-amp speaker terminal cup gold plated banana binding post to make the enclosure system more flexible in wiring options. Can be wired each speaker individually or can be wired parallel, or any other options possible with this terminal cup.
