A4788885 Franky is a friendly 3-year-old gray-and-brown male American Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix who arrived at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on January 3rd because his owner could no longer care for a pet. Weighing 88 lbs, Franky passed his shelter-administered temperament test with a perfect “A.” What we love so much about Franky is that he is equally playful and affectionate. With his large build, he is certainly a strong and sporty dog who is perfect for an active family eager to both exercise with their new best buddy and bring him along on all of life’s adventures. But he is also just so sweet and mellow, and he loves everyone indiscriminately! Franky also greatly enjoys the company of other dogs; he wags his tail happily when he spots another pup, and he greets said pup eagerly to play. Because of this enthusiasm, he should be properly introduced to other dogs. Franky is both a fun-loving guy and a “gentle giant” who will make a magnificent indoor pet.

Mission:
United Hope for Animals is dedicated to reducing homelessness among companion animals through spay/neuter, shelter support, photography, video and networking of shelter animals in Southern California. It is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization working to end homelessness among companion animals by supporting shelter adoptions and spay/neuter programs. Through our Shelter Support Program, our volunteers photograph and video shelter pets to increase their chances of adoption significantly. Our volunteer Adoption Coordinators help facilitate adoptions of shelter pets. United Hope for Animals supports rescue, spay/neuter and networking of shelter pets to increase their chances of adoption. UHA is not a shelter, but supports shelters to help increase visibility of animals who might not otherwise be seen.
