How to prepare for painting a bungalow window
that was previously stripped with a grinder
No Sanding – So Easy!
A project of two halves
We found the timber quality of the windows top half was in great shape due to the thick lead paint still being intact and doing its job while the bottom half was a different story.
The bottom half was covered in heavy grinder marks left by a ‘timber butcher’ leaving the timber in such a roughened state the new paint soaked in so deeply, there was not enough paint to seal the timber causing the new paint to fail.
See how easily Cooper’s Paint & Varnish Stripping Products strips the failed paint, removed the grinder marks and removed the deep ingrained paint, all without sanding being required, leaving both halves ready for new paint.
