In support of FMS ongoing efforts to strengthen faculty competence and align with the identified action items from the S055-00-LE72 dated 18 September 2025 on Post-Training Evaluation of the Unit-Level Mentoring Sessions—particularly the enhancement of faculty engagement in community development activities —I am pleased to submit a 12-minute instructional video clip titled “Engaging in Community Development for the FMS Academic Staff.”
This concise and practical video resource was developed to guide our faculty in designing, implementing, and documenting meaningful community engagement initiatives that are aligned with UST-FMS’ mission, program requirements, and the broader goals of social transformation.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the video, faculty members should be able to:
1. Differentiate types and levels of community development engagement applicable to academic units and course requirements.
2. Apply a structured, outcomes-based approach in conceptualizing and documenting community-responsive programs in their respective departments or disciplines.
