In this episode we travel to Cockle Creek, Tasmania. It is the farthest south you can go by road in Australia.
On the way, We visit Recherche Bay, where in 1793, the cews of the French ships Recherche and Esperence came ashore. The ships were under the command of Bruni D'entracasteux after whom Bruny Island and the Dentrecasteux channel are named.
We visit the historical graveyard and the whale sculpture at Adam's Point, Cockle Creek.
