We are back with the 89 Super Coupe Thunderbird that I guess now is really a Turbo Coupe. We take it out for a little tuning and data logging with the Terminator X computer until we realize that we don't have a big enough fuel system for the power we are making. We upgrade the fuel system with bigger injectors, fuel pump, and install a pressure transducer so we can log our fuel pressure. After that we turn the boost up until my wife Tosh said she would drive while I tuned and that's when the parts started breaking. Hope you like it. The car has the original supercharged short block except for a .550 lift cam. We installed split port heads off of a 97 Ford F150 that I ported and installed PAC 1218 valve springs with Comp retainers to correct the installed height. In the last video we installed a 99-04 mustang intake manifold so it would fit under the stack hood. The lower intake is ported as well with the baffles removed from the high rpm ports. It has a Oldsmobile V6 throttle body and is run by a Holley Terminator x computer and MSD coil packs.
