This video teaches about why we need to set rules around our tech usage and how the algorithm can end up sending digital media that can harm us. It's important for your family to know where those temptations are coming from–is there a video game with inappropriate ads? Are you talking to strangers when you are gaming, or using certain apps? Do you need help managing how you use YouTube or Instagram? Do you need to make some changes about how, when and where you use your devices? In our next lesson we’ll be talking about creating a safe tech plan for your family, so please use this time together today to get a good understanding of where everyone in your family is at with their tech habits so you know how to move forward!
