The Beretta CX4 Storm is a semi-automatic pistol-caliber carbine (PCC) manufactured by Italian gun manufacturer Beretta since 2003. It is chambered in 9mm (9x19mm Parabellum aka 9mm Luger), .40 S&W or .45 ACP.

Pistol-caliber carbines (PCC) are short rifles (carbines) that use ammunition designed for semi-automatic pistols and submachine guns instead of rifle cartridges. The reasons for using a PCC are less recoil and cheaper ammunition. PCC are used for home defense, police work and target shooting.
