This is not a video showing the welding. I have been having problems with the Millermatic 252 and discovered that the bottom drive roll is not properly aligned. When you back off the screw, the drive roll does not move away from the machine as intended.
i was able to loosen the adjusting screw and manually pull it into place and then clamp the drive rolls. This was a test weld to see if it worked better and would stay aligned.
This was a joint with one piece bevelled at 22.5 and the other at 30.
0 root face and 1/16" root opening.
