SBS Transit Trunk Service 88 Hyperlapse (Direction 2) / SMB8037C

Hi everybody! So sorry about the unannounced hiatus that caused me to not be able to upload for a few months. Today, as the admin returns to hyperlapses, we will be seeing 88 D2 running from Toa Payoh to Pasir Ris! I have revamped certain parts of the video like the intro and infobars, except that I have reverted back to the old road infobars.

NOTE: This footage was recorded back in January 2023. Therefore, some of the roads may not look how they actually look like on the upload date itself. This video was meant to be my Chinese New Year special as seen in my video schedule, but I (fr) did not have any motivation to edit the video and therefore did not upload it eventually. From today, I will be uploading hyperlapses at fluctuating schedules (i.e. no fixed schedule for upload or guarantees that I can film the service).

SBS Transit Bus Service 88 is a trunk service plying between Pasir Ris and Toa Payoh, passing through Toa Payoh, Bishan, Ang Mo Kio, Hougang, Sengkang East and Pasir Ris West.

Service 88 is a major inter-town route connecting the residential estates of Toa Payoh, Bishan, Ang Mo Kio, Hougang, Sengkang and Pasir Ris. Demand is well spread throughout its route, and it also serves as a link between MRT stations and outlying estates within the towns of Toa Payoh, Bishan, Ang Mo Kio and Pasir Ris.

This service operates a full fleet of double-deck buses owing to high patronage throughout the day. It also plies a short express sector between Punggol Rd and Pasir Ris Dr 12 along the Tampines Expressway (TPE).
