Snake - Boss Battles Intense (No damage)

Long ago after Smash 4's release I said that I wouldn't give up trying to beat Boss Battles on Intense difficulty with every character, and well it's been a while, but I'm starting it back up again, this time in HD and 60 fps. With how crappy the video and audio quality was on my old Brawl videos, I decided I'm going to redo my completed no damage Boss Battles runs so that they can be in proper quality. To start the revival off, I decided to go with someone I haven't done it with, and that character is Snake, a character I really enjoyed playing throughout the entirety of my Brawl career and who was my occasional secondary after my co-mains of Wolf and Dedede. I also thought it would be appropriate to start it off with a character who did not return in Smash 4 (here's to hoping he comes back in Smash Switch).

As for the run itself, while Snake hits really really hard, his DPS against bosses is rather lackluster, due to the rather lengthy durations of his moves.. Forward tilt is alright against landlocked bosses, but for airborne bosses Snake has to rely on sourspotted u-tilts and his really laggy aerials. As for the specific bosses, four years doesn't change Petey, Meta Ridley, and Crazy Hand from being freebies. The Galleom and Ridley were also really easy, and early Rayquaza wasn't much of a threat, but late fast Rayquaza was certainly threatening and managed to end a few runs (though in the winning run he was overcome, with me managing to beat him before he used Thunder). Master Hand isn't that much of a problem if you take him slowly despite his airborne nature, as Snake has a lot of leeway offstage to avoid the Hand Drill and can fight from far away to avoid the Finger Flick and Hand Swipe, you just have to take him more slowly and avoid getting careless. Porky was a big threat because of the Homing Laser, which with Snake's tall frame and slow aerial mobility, made it difficult to avoid. Against the Duon, despite his poor aerial mobility Snake has no problem avoiding getting stuck on the Charge like some characters do, but the Black Laser was a big problem, as Snake can't outrun it. To dodge it I would use a DACUS on the first laser, powershield the second laser, and then the shield can just barely take the third laser, though it requires really tight timing to pull off. Then for Tabuu, I had no problem avoiding his moves with Snake, but due to his mostly airborne nature, it takes Snake a while to beat him.
