Durin The Deathless

The world was young, the mountains green
No stain yet on the Moon was seen
No words were laid on stream or stone
When Durin woke and walked alone

The dwarves - a small, defiant but steadfast and inexhaustible people. Many of them have played their parts in the great annals of history, and have accomplished great feats of legend. But there was one among them who towered above them all and would be the father of legends and sagas like no other. The first, and eldest of all dwarves, founder of Moria and a beacon of hope for his people: Durin the Deathless.
