Chocolate Chip Cookies (Chewy Version) 🍪 | Kitchen Series with Calm Sea Cruise 2025

Welcome to the very first episode of our new Kitchen Series, where Calm Sea Cruise’s own Pat (the chef in the family) shares a tried-and-true chewy cookie recipe. A favorite among family and friends!

This recipe creates soft, chewy, golden-brown cookies loaded with chocolate chips and baked to perfection. Whether you're an experienced home baker or just starting out, this one's a must-try!

🍴Ingredients for Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies:
►2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter, softened
►300 grams light brown sugar
►2 large eggs at room temperature
►1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract
►330 grams all-purpose flour
►1 tsp baking soda
►1 tsp baking powder
►1 tsp salt
►2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

🥣 Preparation Steps:
In small bowl, sift the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt)
In large missing bowl, beat softened butter with brown sugar
Add eggs one at a time, beating well (incorporating completely) after each addition
Add vanilla
Beat in dry ingredients mixture gradually
Slowly stir in chocolate chips and chill the dough
Preheat oven to 365°F (185°C)
Using number 10 scoop dole out the dough into equal portions on parchment-lined sheet pan
Bake for 12.5 minutes until lightly browned on the edges
Let cool for 5 minutes — and enjoy warm!
