This Spring Break did NOT go as planned 😭 — but it turned into one of the most unforgettable hotel-hopping trips I’ve ever had.
I stayed at three hotels on this trip:
✨ DoubleTree by Hilton – LaGuardia, NYC
✨ Courtyard by Marriott – New Haven, CT
✨ Hyatt Place – Connecticut
…and each one had its own vibe, surprises, and soft life moments.
What started as a simple weekend trip turned into:
• a flight cancellation because of unexpected weather
• getting rained on in Manhattan
• my phone charger dying in the middle of NYC
• navigating the subway alone
• a shuttle ride from the hotel
• switching airlines (Spirit → Avelo)
• last-minute hotel bookings through Hotels.com
• getting sick from the storm 😭
• AND still trying to enjoy Spring Break
But I also found peace ✨
• breakfast at the hotel
• relaxing on the Marriott patio
• sunshine + quiet beach moments
• margaritas during Hyatt happy hour
• the hot tub
• finally making it home, grabbing IHOP, going to a job interview, and ending the vlog with my cat Skylar purring 💕
I’m hoping to share more hotel stays, travel moments, flight experiences, and soft-life adventures as I grow this channel — and hopefully work with amazing hotel brands in the future.
