Using Gamma Exposure to Scalp SPX Intraday

https://optionalpha.com/?ytref=95 - In this video, I'm going on a limb a little bit as I've started trading more and more gamma exposure (GEX) to scalp SPX intraday. Definitely not what I'm used to doing at all but I've had a lot of fun learning and exploring GEX trading.

This video shares what I’ve learned so far, and the lessons/mistakes I've made so far, because I definitely don’t have it all figured out yet. I walk through a handful of my recent SPX scalp trades and explain why certain GEX levels caught my attention, how I interpreted the possible market directional moves or shifts, and show how a bunch of different positions ended up. My goal is simply to show the real learning curve as I try to incorporate GEX into my workflow.

I also pull up the historical GEX profiles for each trade to understand what was actually happening with the decisions I made in the moment. Some things made sense in hindsight, others… not so much. But the process has been incredibly helpful, and I hope that walking through these early experiments gives you a practical view.
