We are taking an RV cross country road trip adventure for the first time.
On this stop we spent 24 hours exploring Memphis
We stayed at the Tom Sawyer RV Park in West Memphis which is actually in Arkansas. It was an interesting place because you are down in the Mississippi, you are so close in fact that you have to check before you go to make sure it's not underwater. It was a really pretty setting and really peaceful.
I was expecting Memphis to be a bluesy Nashville, but it has a different vibe. It wasn't as bustling as Nashville, even Beal Street was fairly empty.
In our 24 hours we:
00:35 Visited Graceland
05:21 Set up camp at Tom Sawyer RV Park
08:13 Walked up and down Beal Street
09:37 Ate BBQ at Central BBQ
10:20 Visited the Lorraine Motel
I am going to miss Tennessee but am excited to see all the other places we will be seeing on our trip back west.
