Another set of names given to Ganapati are Siddhi Ganapati and Buddhi Ganapati.
He is an extremely intelligent person.
Siddhi and Buddhi are the powers of Ganapati.
As Ganapati has these extraordinary powers, he can make sure that no obstacle comes in whatever work is undertaken and gets them done without any disturbances.
How is it that he got this kind of authority?
He got it by the name.
You can understand how powerful the name is.
In this name live the Gods of fire, sun, and moon.
But even this (word) is a combination of two entities, two objects.
One has to accept and believe, even scientifically, this truth.
Some God who is at a distance of crores of miles is scorching the entire world with heat.
Who are the mother and father of this Sun God?
What extraordinary powers would they have?
What intense powers they must possess?
How resplendent should they be?
You take Agni, the fire.
Fire burns the moment you touch it.
Who is the mother who has given birth to this fire?
Who is the father?
It is only the union of these two parents that has given birth to this fire.
One name given for the moon is Sheetarashi (the very embodiment of coolness).
Even when the moon is at a distance of lakhs of miles, you are having its coolness.
When we approach the moon, we would freeze into a ball of ice.
The mother who has given birth (to the moon), how cool she might be.
How cool would the father be?
When you examine and try to understand, the resplendent one, the one who shines, the one who has wisdom, the one who has a cool heart.
It is only God.
Therefore, for all these three entities, God is the mother and the father.

But ordinary human beings are only trying to explore worldly objects.
They are not trying to understand the very basis, the very root, the very foundation of the entire world.
How can there be anything without a foundation or a proof of existence?
Even scientists come to the conclusion only if there is some basis or proof. For everything, there must be something that is the very basis.
If you look at this cup, the basis is the table.
This table is standing on the stage.
The stage is based on the earth.
That is how for everything there is something at the very base. Without the basis, nothing can exist.
Therefore, the base is the name (of Divinity), and the manifestation of that (name) is the world.
Therefore, the entire creation and the world are based upon the name (of Divinity).
