HOW TO PLAY

The game board is made up of tiles that form an island for the players to explore

Once a turn at sorcery speed, players may pay the mana shown on the tile to flip it over and receive a benefit.

You can’t pull a tile if its touching other tiles of a lower mana cost
For example: If i wanted this 3 cost tile ill have to get rid of all the 1 cost tiles surrounding it first.
Rather than using the Counters the game provides to mark where a player is we decided to stay within our play mats acting as quadrants. A player may only pull tiles that are in their quadrant.

The three types of tiles you can find are, Quest, Event and Site

Quest tiles act as enchantments and go away as soon as there requirement is met.
Event tiles act as sorceries and go away as soon as soon an their ability resolves
Sites, like quests act like enchantments but stay on the battlefield for the rest of the game.

The tiles can be responded to but not destroyed or countered.
Make it to the center of the Island for the best rewards.

We used fewer tiles than the game provides because we aren't using the included precons with the game. We are using our own EDH decks that tend to win the game in fewer turns.
