It is also home to the world’s largest Muslim population, which strongly shapes daily life, culture, food, and community across the country. Indonesian hospitality is famous worldwide, and locals are known for being some of the friendliest people you will ever meet.

Indonesia is known for its natural beauty, including volcanoes, jungles, rivers, rice fields, beaches, and wildlife. The country sits on the Pacific Ring of Fire and has over 130 active volcanoes. Indonesia is also one of the most biodiverse countries on Earth, home to orangutans, Komodo dragons, and some of the world’s most unique ecosystems.
