Azaleas in Full Bloom | Isabella Plantation | Richmond Park | Walk With Me | May 3, 2025

I’m like a kid in a candy store when I’ve entered the Broomfield Hill Gate of Isabella Plantation in Richmond Park! 🌸🌼🪻

Another flower unlocked for me: Azaleas🌸😍💕

There are varieties of vibrant coloured azaleas everywhere you look. There are rhododendrons, camellia and blue bells as well. It’s like walking inside a secret fairy place. The whole place is just so colourful, relaxing and charming. 🧚‍♀️💕🌸

I wish I can stay there forever or at least visit it again until the azalea season is finished but it’s like a 2 hour journey from where we live and yes, that includes the traffic.🙈😅😍💕🌸🪻

I hope I can come and visit Isabella Plantation again next year during the azalea season.🥰

Make sure you don’t miss the chance to experience this amazing display of azaleas in full bloom! Apparently, they are only in full bloom from late April to Early May.🥰

Isabella Plantation is a 40 acre woodland garden established in the 1830’s.

Located in the gardens are the National Plant Collection of Wilson 50 Kurume Azaleas (introduced to the west from Japan in the 1920's by the plant collector Ernest Wilson). Extensive collections of Rhododendron, Magnolia and Camellia, plus many other unusual trees, shrubs and herbaceous plantings.

🌸The opening time is between 7:30am to 5:15pm.

🌸There are two nearest carpark:
Broomfield Hill Gate Car Park
Peg’s Pond Car Park (dedicated car park for those with disabilities)

🌸 The nearest bus routes to the Isabella Plantation are the No 85 and K3 (Warren Road stop) buses which stop near Ladderstile Gate a pedestrian access gate off Kingston Hill on the south east side of the park.
