Four Stroke Engine

A four-stroke engine is a type of internal combustion engine that completes a power cycle in four strokes of the piston during two revolutions of the crankshaft. The four strokes are:
1. Intake Stroke: The intake valve opens, and the piston moves down, allowing a mixture of fuel and air to enter the cylinder.
2. Compression Stroke: The intake valve closes, and the piston moves up, compressing the fuel-air mixture.
3. Power Stroke: The spark plug ignites the compressed fuel-air mixture, causing an explosion that pushes the piston down and generates power.
4. Exhaust Stroke: The exhaust valve opens, and the piston moves up again, expelling the burnt gases from the cylinder.
These four strokes are repeated continuously to keep the engine running.
