Fun cars for £30,000: New vs Used vs Classic

Here's a conundrum for you. You've got £30,000 to spend on a fun car, and at that kind of money, your options are almost endless. So what do you do? Do you buy new? Do you buy used? Or do you go for an older modern classic?

Depending on which route you go down, you'll have some VERY different options to choose from, and in this video, we've assembled what we consider to be some of the best options in each category.

Representing the new car stable is the GR Yaris, Toyota's rally-bred hot hatch that's bang on budget, starting at £29,995. Our used car option is the fabulous Kia Stinger, and not just any Stinger, but the range-topping GTS with its twin-turbocharged 3.3-litre V6. The Porsche 911 completes the group as our chosen modern classic, in this case, a 996 example in Carrera 2 manual form.
