A two day trip packrafting the San Juan River on Vancouver Island. I eat a bunch of wild berries and a big fat trout, while destroying my feet on long treks in the temperate rainforests of British Columbia. After the hike, I inflate my DIY Packraft, and float along the lazy San Juan river, with strong headwinds slowing the process. Along the journey, sights like the infamous San Juan Spruce, the Kludahk Ridge, and the fairy lake bonsai are appreciated. It was a fantastic trip. also caught another newt.
