I’ve spent more time working on this album than on any other project before.
After the great success of Merry Reggae Christmas – Volume 1, I knew one thing for sure:
there had to be a second part.

Work on this album started back in February/March of this year.
My vision was to create 24 Christmas stories, each wrapped in a warm and groovy reggae sound.
It was important to me that the album speaks to every generation —
with classic tales, funny moments, thoughtful themes, and even some emotional, bittersweet highlights.

24 tracks full of emotion, like a musical advent calendar where each day reveals a new surprise.

From the very beginning, I also knew I wanted a full video that brings all these stories to life visually.
I honestly thought it would be easier than it was — but when you’re your own biggest critic, nothing is ever „finished“.
I created countless versions of almost every scene, and even when everything seemed done, I went back and reworked nearly all of it again.

I truly hope that this project reaches you and brings you joy.

🇩🇪 An diesem Album habe ich bisher am längsten gearbeitet.
Nach dem großen Erfolg von Merry Reggae Christmas – Volume 1 war für mich schnell klar:
Es muss einen zweiten Teil geben.

Die Arbeiten daran begannen schon im Februar/März dieses Jahres.
Ich wollte 24 Geschichten rund um Weihnachten erzählen – jede davon eingebettet in einen coolen, warmen Reggae-Sound.
Mir war wichtig, dass ich alle Generationen erreiche und für jeden etwas dabei ist:
klassische Weihnachtsgeschichten, lustige Momente, etwas zum Nachdenken – und auch ein paar emotionale, traurige Augenblicke.

24 Mal pure Emotionen, verpackt wie ein musikalischer Adventskalender,
bei dem jeden Tag eine neue kleine Überraschung wartet.

Von Anfang an war mir klar:
Dieses Jahr soll es ein Video geben, das alle Geschichten auch visuell erzählt.
Dass das so viel Arbeit wird, hatte ich allerdings unterschätzt.
Wenn man selbst der größte Kritiker ist, wird jede Szene hunderte Male hinterfragt.
Ich habe von vielen Aufnahmen unzählige Versionen erstellt – und selbst als alles eigentlich fertig war, habe ich noch einmal fast jede Szene neu überarbeitet.

Ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn ich Euch mit diesem Album und dem Video erreichen kann.
