Village Festival 2011 (19th - 21st August) @ in Yeppoon, QLD.
The Village Festival of Arts & Music is the Capricorn Coast's major arts celebration staged annually by the Keppel Coast Arts Council since 2003. The Festival is a kaleidoscope of contemporary culture with something for everyone featuring music, performing arts, visual arts, cultural arts, children's activities, street theatre, workshops, food, stalls and on site camping.
Entertainment highlights have included diverse acts such as Busby Marou, Dub Marine, Jeff Lang, Ash Grunwald, Waiting for Guiness, The Bull Sisters, Circus Oz, The Fumes and Tijuana Cartel. The festival includes both national profile artists as well as local and regional talent in a range of mediums with an emphasis on active participation in the arts.
