We've waited a long, long time for this Amazing S.E. Shires Ralph Sauer Model and was it worth the wait?
We truly believe so!
S.E. Shires has knocked it out of the park with the Ralph Sauer model trombone! This trombone is as beautiful to look at as it is to play. The Sauer model is a .525/.547 dual bore slide (though you can get a .547 bore hand slide for it or in addition to the dual bore slide), with dual bore rotary valve, and a one piece red-brass bell that has been cut into a screw-bell. One of the very cool features of this trombone is that it comes with two lead pipes; one that is for small shank mouthpieces and one that is for large shank mouthpieces. In this video Eric Chapman, of Austin Custom Brass, discusses and demonstrates the Ralph Sauer model trombone by S.E. Shires.
