Sections 153A and 295A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) address offenses related to religion and religious harmony. Section 153A deals with promoting enmity between different groups based on religion, race, place of birth, etc., and doing acts prejudicial to the maintenance of harmony. Section 295A criminalizes acts that deliberately and maliciously outrage religious feelings by insulting religion or religious beliefs.
