We Lost One of Our Chickens

One of our chickens went missing, and this one hit especially hard because it was one of Amanda’s two favorite chickens. We spent all day and all night searching, walking the property over and over, hoping we’d find it. After hours with no luck, we honestly started to lose hope.

Just when we thought it might be over, Amanda ended up finding the missing chicken, and you will not believe where it was hiding. This story definitely has a happy ending 🐔❤️

If you’re new here, welcome! We’re just starting our homestead journey. Right now we have about 20 chickens and one chicken coop, but this is only the beginning. Our goal is to build a mini chicken farm, raising different breeds and eventually selling baby chicks, eggs, and meat birds to our local community.
