After catching L004 in Southborough, I chased it up to this crossing. I figured I would have a little wait due to getting about five miles ahead of the 10-mph running train. This wait turned into nearly an hour and a half, but eventually, L004 came rolling through. I am not sure what the holdup was, as no switching was performed and all cars remained in the same order.
This crossing features a pair of Western Cullen Hayes gateless masts dating back to the 1980s. They feature a mix of classic Western Cullen Hayes and Safetran 8-inch lights. It also featured an extremely healthy-sounding Western Cullen Hayes mechanical bell, but this was removed and replaced by an NEG electronic bell not long after this video was taken. This crossing is also controlled by traffic signals, unusually enough. Though the signal head can't be fully seen in this video, several cars disregarded the red light at the end of the video after the train passed.
