Amish Shortcake recipe ..This is a 38yr. favorite in our family.
SHORTCAKE
3 cups flour 4 tsp baking powder, 2 cups sugar 1/4 cup Crisco or tiny bit more 1 c milk 2 lg eggs stir all together well then add 3 tsp vanilla. I put in 3- 8 pie pans just because that's the way mother did it. Greased sprinkle top slightly with sugar and bake 375 for 15-20 until tooth pick comes clean.
