Kansas Eagles 2-26-25. Harvey Reports Early, Rests with Ellie, Then Brings an ABC Fish for Ellie!

Video opens with Ellie incubating. Harvey reports early, and Ellie remains incubating. Harvey rests next to Ellie, since he is not going to get time on his eggs yet. Ellie rises to care for her eggs, and Harvey takes off. He returns with an ABC fish for Ellie! Ellie rises and eats her entire fish! Harvey returns with nest material, and places some material on Ellie's tail feathers. It's still not time for Harvey's turn, so he takes a trash item and leaves the nest. Video closes with a cheeky mouse trying to get some corn while Ellie sleeps (early AM on 2-25). Additional video details in the time stamps below, if interested. Information on Ellie, provided by Farmer Derek: Ellie was banded ten years ago as a chick at Clinton Lake in Lawrence, Kansas. (We were told this in the spring of 2024.)
