Last weekend (Jan 25-26, 2025), I attended a local calligraphy class taught by Kerri Forster with Bow Valley Calligraphy Guild here in Calgary.
In the first half of this video, I show you a flip-through of my pages from the class where we learned how to write with the wonderful Folded Pen and to play with different types of ink and paper.
In the second half, I do a little demo of how different the strokes turn out depending on the angle that you hold the pen from the paper.
I have a picture of the materials I tried during the workshop at the end.
