HOUSTON (KIAH) -- The FIFA World Cup 26 Houston™ Host Committee is marking 500 days until FIFA World Cup 2026™ with a joint press conference attended by local elected officials, Houston Mayor John Whitmire and Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo partners as well as stakeholders. NRG Stadium, the host venue, hosted the press conference at 10 a.m. on Monday, January 27, 2025.
