LONELY JAKE is the Blues Side of JAKE CALYPSO.

'BLUES NEVER LIES' is a very particular project by JAKE CALYPSO Recorded on the 'Mississippi' roads with just a guitar or harmonica between October 7 and 23th, 2016.
The album was released for the first time in October 2020. 100 copies sold out. Now a 2nd edition including photos, stories, lyrics.
Only 100 copies again.

About the recording, all songs were recorded in Mississippi.

1 - 'A Cotton Field Day' were recorded in a cotton field in Bobo. It's the Junior Parker birth place.
2 - 'The Dark Side Blues' were recorded front a church in Avalon where Mississippi John Hurt lived & died.
3 - 'Aberdeen Tupelo' were recorded' during the night in Tupelo on the steps of the house where Elvis was born in 1935 & lived till 1948. You can hear the Tupelo train.
4 - 'Neighbors' were recorded in Greenwood near the Robert Johnson grave.
5 - 'Bad Morning Blues' were recorded in Lula, a small town at the 49 & 61 crossroads.
6 - 'Cause I Feel So Bad' were recorded an empty silo near West-Point, the Howlin' Wolf hometown.
7 - 'Pairie Blues' were recorded a rainy day near the Sonny Boy Williamson grave, Prairie Rd Cemetery Tutwiler.
8 - 'Crying Blues' were recorded in Holly Ridge near the Charley Patton grave. You can hear the cotton factory sound near the cemetery.
9 - 'Tell The Truth Or Go Away' was recorded front Aikei Pro's Record Shop in Holly Springs. A young man present then makes the guitar chorus with his voice.
10 - 'Po Monkey Blues' was records on the steps of Po Monkey Jukejoint at Merigold. The guitar was play with a little piece of wood. Willie "Po 'Monkey" Seaberry just died a few days ago.
11 - 'The Mound' written in Vance Mississippi, John Lee Hooker birth place but recorded in a hotel room Jackson Tennessee.
12 - 'Broken Heart Blues' were recorded near the Dockery Farm Cleveland MS, a plantation where the Delta Blues with Charley Patton.
13 - 'Gasoline Blues' were recorded in Crawford, the Big Joe Williams birth place.
14 - '50 Miles Blues' were recorded on the railroad tracks in Lyon Mississippi, This town is the Son House birth place.
