कोटा के बालिता कुन्हाड़ी क्षेत्र स्थित रघुनंदन मैरिज गार्डन में आयोजित रामपाल जी की कथा को बजरंग दल के कार्यकर्ताओं ने बंद करा दिया। इस दौरान मौके पर हंगामे की स्थिति बन गई, हालांकि बाद में मामला शांत कराया गया।
बजरंग दल के कार्यकर्ताओं का आरोप है कि संत रामपाल से जुड़ी कुछ किताबों में हिंदू धर्म के देवी-देवताओं और धार्मिक मान्यताओं को लेकर आपत्तिजनक एवं अश्लील टिप्पणियां की गई हैं। उनका कहना है कि ऐसे व्यक्ति की कथाएं, जो हिंदू धर्म के प्रति अनर्गल बातें करता हो, कोटा में किसी भी स्थान पर आयोजित नहीं होने दी जाएंगी।
घटना की सूचना मिलने पर स्थानीय स्तर पर चर्चा तेज हो गई। बजरंग दल का कहना है कि वे हिंदू धर्म और आस्था की रक्षा के लिए प्रतिबद्ध हैं और किसी भी प्रकार से धार्मिक भावनाओं को ठेस पहुंचाने वाले कार्यक्रमों का विरोध करेंगे।
वहीं, कथा आयोजन से जुड़े लोगों का कहना है कि कार्यक्रम शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से चल रहा था, लेकिन विरोध के चलते कथा को बीच में ही रोकना पड़ा। मामले को लेकर प्रशासन की भूमिका पर भी नजर बनी हुई है, ताकि क्षेत्र में शांति एवं कानून व्यवस्था बनी रहे।Chaos erupts during Sant Rampal Ji's Katha; police use mild force.
