So this yard was certainly not the worst property i've been to but it clearly deserved some love and tender care, it's also great that the client was also the home owner! He just has not had the time to stay on top of it all. So i introduced myself and told him i could do it all for free. He was a little suspicious at first and felt more comfortable if i came back a few days later again as it was also not a good time for him. So we returned on tuesday about 4 days after we initially met him and started on the work straight away.

The first thing was getting the garden bed alongside the driveway neat again, it was full of dead wood and debris, we cleaned up the bush too and then gave the lawn a mow, which had grown completely out of control with oxalis weeds. Then onto some hand weeding in front of the fence line. The edging came out very nice and it was satisfying seeing the bricks get revealed. Then we gave the big aromofla bush out the front a nice little trim and then went over the lawn a second time as after a couple of days it had started to stand up again revealing even more weeds!

All in all this job was certainly not the most intense, but it was satisfying nonetheless, and the best part was hearing David the owner telling me how much he is inspired to invest into some tools to get back into the gardening! They were also very kind to gift me a brand new pair of RM williams boots which blew my mind!!
