The offerings include dishes that will be used when the family celebrates Tet such as: Chung cake, boiled meat, chicken cut into pieces, arranged on a plate, bowl of soup, chopsticks, wine.There are betel nuts, areca nuts, and money. Arrange them into three trays of food, all of which are odd numbers. The shaman will perform a ceremony to invite the ancestors to celebrate Tet, tell them what is on the tray, and tell the ancestors about what the homeowner has done in the past year. Pray that the ancestors will bless the family with good fortune, health, and prosperity in the new year.
