On the morning of Friday May 19th, 2017, my best friend @TrainiacProductions and I took a trip up US 1 first thing in the morning to railfan the Raritan Central, our first time ever buffing this operation. Even though it was our first time buffing up here, we started to get the lay of the land and a very cool crew on RC-1 made the experience a lot better.
You'll see RC-1 as they return from Metuchen Yard to the Raritan Central with LTEX GP38-2 2244 and RCRY GP30M 5 for power. The 2244 was still LTEX-owned at the time and retained its patched coat of BNSF H1 paint. We also managed to catch RC-2 working the Lower Yard with a pair of LTEX SW1500s as well during the festivities. Enjoy!
