Chapter 5: Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 vs. 2 Black (Master Ninja) - The Shrine Maiden's Battle

This is part of a video series comparing all three versions of Ninja Gaiden 2 on Master Ninja difficulty. In general, Ninja Gaiden 2 (played on Xbox One X) is at the top left, Sigma 2 (Master Collection on PC) at the top right, and 2 Black (PC) on the bottom. For these chapters that weren't in the original release, 2 Black is on the left and Sigmas 2 on the right. Cutscenes and certain battles are synced, primary game audio comes from Sigma 2 because it was the only one I didn't stream, and when one game continues playing or has a unique scene while the others don't it will become full screen. I didn't label each game because I have faith in you, the viewer, to figure that part out. :) If you want to see the individual games, they are unlisted on my channel and linked below.

For the most part, there is some give and take between each version of the game. The original has the largest enemy count, and individual enemies don't hurt as much in the other two versions. Sigma 2 has the lowest enemy count, but mostly the highest damage taken from enemies. These levels with Momiji, Rachel, and Ayane have similar if not identical enemy counts between 2B and S2, but higher damage from enemies in S2, making these the only chapters where I think Sigma 2 is unambiguously the hardest. Add to that the buffs to Ayane and Rachel, and I think this is one of the hardest chapters in 2 Black on master ninja difficulty.
