Sea Fishing Lowestoft South Pier

Heading towards the end of January and with the temperatures still in low single figures
i make my way to Lowestoft South Pier in the hope of a few winter bites.

PLEASE NOTE.
A couple of subscribers have said the area where I fished can be quite Snaggy at times. The only reason I can think why I didn't get snagged once, there was very little tide pull to move my gear into the snag. The cleaner area is from the Fishermans sculpture towards the start of the Pier 👍 Thanks ‪@wolfysmith4752‬ & ‪@rubythescooby4002‬

Also a subscriber has told me, officially its NO FISHING into the harbour side of the pier.
Apparently there are some signs. I have often seen people fishing that side but please check before fishing. Thanks .

Plenty of good facilities nearby for Parking , food, drink and toilets.
