The design MaxShine took actually was from Poka Premium (https://pokapremium.pl/en/products/wh.... Poka have made a stand identical to it for a while now since I started mine at least. The MaxShine Stand is very solid, but heavy. It is all solid steel that is powder coated. Unfortunately the way it is packed with just loose bubble wrap allowed some of the parts to rub together and some of the powder coat came off in a few places exposing the bare metal which will undoubtedly start rusting without paint touch up. Overall though the stand is really solid. Works just like the CycloShine although the back roller does not angle out so if you had a wheel with a rim that stick out a bit, it will likely rub on that back roller which is not ideal. This was an issue on my very first prototypes which is why the top roller can lean out now to contact just the tire and not the rim. The bottom rollers have slots on the back so you can angle them back or flat, but the way they attach is through screws into the rollers and the frame is barely wide enough for the rollers. This causes scratching of the frame when you try and put the rollers in and adjust them which doesn't look great. As far as actually using the thing, it works fine. Wheels can walk off it still as they spin, just like mine. It is a common problem with the rollers and tires due to non completely uniform geometry on tires. The footprint of the thing is very large. The base I think I measured at 25 x 15 so it will take up a good amount of space and does not break down. In summary, the only real pro I can see to the MaxShine model over the Cycloshine is it is larger and can handle slightly larger wheels and possibly easier assembly although it does not come with instructions, but is easy to figure out. Everything else I would give the advantage to the CycloShine: breaks down for easier storage, more color options, more adjustable, can add casters and toggle clamp to lock rollers, less than half the total weight, half the footprint, not damaged powder coating on delivery or from making adjustments.
