The game takes place six years after the Raccoon City incident and follows Leon S. Kennedy, a former Raccoon City police officer turned government agent, as he is sent to a remote European village to rescue Ashley Graham, the President’s daughter, from a mysterious cult organization known as Los Illuminados. Upon arrival, Leon discovers that the villagers have been infected with a mind-controlling parasite called Las Plagas, turning them into violent and zombie-like creatures.
