Krak-On Splat Roller Gameplay #4 - Splatoon 3 | Anarchy Battle (TC)

Gameplay of Krak-On Splat Roller on tower control. It's been a long time since I've last used this weapon, so I wanna give this weapon another shot. Thanks to @vilegato for requesting this weapon. Splat Roller is a short range weapon that does great damage, can one shot opponents up-close, has a wide attack, has okay paint output, and solid mobility. And the kit is quite solid. Squid beakon is a sub weapon that allow you to place down a device that provides a jump point for you and your teammate. You can place down up to three squid beakon at a time. And kraken royal is a special weapon that allow you to transform in a big kraken. While you're a kraken, you're invincible to attack, can swim or climb through enemy's ink, and can attack opponent. You can attack by either squid rolling, jumping, or charging your attack. Now there are some strength to this weapon and it's kit. The weapon is quite good at applying pressure once it's able to close the distance. The weapon can attack with either a horizontal flick or a vertical flick. Horizontal flick is good for getting quick kills up-close as well as covering more area in front. And the vertical flick can deal damage from a further distance, but the attack is more precise and narrow. Both flicks are very helpful for applying pressure, but the DPS isn't the best and the damage fall off the further away from it's attack is. It's paint output isn't the best and the weapon still get outranged by mid and long range weapon. Squid beakon can provide jumping point for you and your team. This can help you and your team get back into the action if placed in a good spot. Squid beakon also allow your teammate to jump to the same beakon twice and will mark opponents who are near the beakon if you look at your map. But as good as squid beakon are as a sub, it doesn't help splat roller when it comes to displacing opponents in a fight. The beakons are also pretty easy to take out and if you were jumping to the beakon and an enemies is near by to destroy it, you're most likely to get punish pretty hard. And kraken royal can help you continue the pressure. The kraken can help you survive for a little bit longer and can help in distracting and closing the gap to hopeful kill your opponents with a charge attack. You can even counter some special weapon like crab tank, trizooka, or big bubbler if used at the right time. But you have to be really up-close to get value with the special. And due to how close you have to be, enemies can easily avoid you by mixing up there movement or keeping their distance. Enemies can also shoot you to slow you down your movement. And the start up and end lag of the special is a bit long, leaving you quite vulnerable to being attack. So when playing Krak-On Splat Roller, you want to focus on applying some aggro pressure. Utilize cover and try to either shark or flank your opponents to close the distance. Use the horizontal flick to quickly get a kill and then you can use the vertical flick to create a path to push through. You can also use it to apply pressure as well. Place down some beakon as you push up the map and once you special is ready, you can use to survive for longer and help in applying more pressure.
