After months of research and tough decisions, we finally made the big move to Texas—and here’s why we chose Austin! We talk about why Dallas and Houston didn’t make the cut, why Raleigh, NC wasn’t the right fit, and how we ended up finding a gem of an exurb near Austin with affordable housing and close access to the city.
In this video, we also share our experience buying our first home, the challenges we faced in the mortgage process (especially with my husband not being a U.S. citizen), and what ultimately sealed the deal—me getting admitted to UT Austin for my Master’s in Information Security and Privacy (MSISP)!
