This is the first of several instructional videos about how to use Blocks in LibreCAD.
There are several operations about blocks that do not work the way I expected them to work. I hesitate to call those problems "bugs", because it may be something that I and anyone using LibreCAD just have to get used to using. Most of these "problems" have to do with layers.
In this video I show how to create a block and what happens if you use different layers when you create the block.
I recommend that blocks are always drawn at full scale. This is so all the blocks will be sized correctly when you import them into other drawings.
The second thing I recommend is that you consistently use the same layers when you create blocks and I am suggesting to begin these layers with the letter b to denote these are layers you used for blocks. The reason for this will become apparent in future videos.
To give credit where credit belongs, I have used some music that is licensed by YouTube for this purpose the Music is titled "Grange Party" by Huma-Huma. It is a little more up-beat and sounds a lot better than the music I was using which was created by me.
