The customer wants a concave curved border letter. Initially, we planned to use solid aluminum and 3D milling for shaping, but both material and carving costs were very high, especially for achieving a 1-inch return height for the letters. We opted for our advanced welding and grinding techniques, using 0.6-inch thick stainless steel for the channel letters. This has just been welded and the weld points ground off.
