Video shows our trip to Creswell Crags situated near Worksop on the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border. The gorge is a very atmospheric place to take a walk. There are caves all around that were used as shelter in the Ice Age 10-50000 years ago. The Caves have some of the most northenmost cave art in Europe. Stone age tools and remains of animals have also been found. Entry to the gorge is free although there is a small charge for car parking. Guided tours of the caves are also available.
There is also a museum and cafe at the visitor centre.
