In this video, I’ll be showing you how to replace the alternator on a 2012 dodge avenger step-by-step. When trying to take the alternator out don’t try to take the steering pump bracket just jack up the engine and take off the 3 bolts that are holding the engine to the motor mount and lift the engine enough to take the alternator out. In the video I didn’t record me doing that instead of removing the steering pump bracket.
