Remembering BUNNY BREAD

I reproduce here a text from Top Rock of Jazzre:freshed in tribute to Bunny Bread :
"The word legend gets overused, however Bunny Bread is a certified legend, an absolute colossus amongst us. Bunny was a Polymath in the truest sense of the word, a bonafide renaissance man - a master of many many things.
A fine artist, illustrator, designer, graff writer, photographer, videographer, activist, stylista, DJ, music producer, debater, cultural archivist, intellectual... (…)
Not to mention that he was a devoted and loving father, husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend.
There are few people more charismatic, more loved and more admired than Bunny Bread.
Blessed with charm and a disarming cheekiness, Bunny also possessed a fierce intelligence. He was boundlessly inquisitive and curious, with a voracious appetite for knowledge and learning. Many reading this will attest to long conversations had on a wide range of topics, where Bunny would probe and agitate discussions from the meaning of life, to 80's cartoons.
He was a prolific creator, utilising whatever medium or guise he needed to express himself or the countless ideas swimming around in his head.
Through art, film, activism, conversation, clothes and style, Bunny was always creating, always building, always learning. He was constantly challenging himself, often struggling to keep his ever-creative mind from taking on too much, which he inevitably always did. (…)
Jazz re:freshed certainly would not be what it is today, indeed I would not be who I am today, without him. As one of the founding members of Jazz refreshed, it was Bunny's foresight to photograph and film everything from the very beginning, not only creating priceless archives, but also producing iconic images of a special time and place, with his superlative skill and extraordinary eye.

If we are lucky, we encounter people on life's journey, that inspire, encourage and challenge us to be better, to do better, and to have fun doing it.
He was a cheerleader for all of his friends, in whatever we endeavoured to achieve. Those fortunate enough to have known or even met Bunny, can bear witness to this.
The immense legacy he leaves through his work and all of our interactions with him, will continue to inspire, encourage and challenge us.
More than a fellow founder of Non Stop Artists, Construction, Espionage, The Soulmasters, Uprock Recordings and Jazz re:freshed (to mention a few),
Bunny was pait of a brotherhood of close friends.
A brotherhood that checked up on each other, unafraid to tell each other that we love each other, which we do often.
A brotherhood forged through a love of music, DJing, creativity, activism, positive living and having fun, lots of fun - and Bunny DEFINITELY knew how to have fun!
Bunny was a cornerstone, the foundation of that brotherhood, and always will be.
Love defined Bunny for us - love for his family, love for his friends, love for music and art, love for creating, love of knowledge, love for having fun and a love for life.
So love is how we will hold him and keep him present in everything we do.
We love you Bunny, and we always will."
